Salesforce Administrator
Voltus is hiring a driven Salesforce Administrator who is eager to learn processes and workflows in a real-world setting. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will work with the Salesforce Manager to improve the productivity and operational effectiveness of the company. The primary responsibilities of the role focus on the overall administration of Salesforce and TaskRay. We are looking for someone who is curious and passionate about learning new technologies. Primary Responsibilities
- Act as a Salesforce administrator, working alongside the current admin to maintain and optimize Salesforce, including the streamlining of processes and ongoing training
- Hands-on configuration of new and existing Salesforce features, including user management, roles/profiles, Permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations rules, etc
- Provide standardized reporting and ad-hoc reporting support and training
- Manage Taskray (a task management tool in Salesforce) requests, including mass updating tasks, building ad-hoc reports, and troubleshooting errors
- Engage with internal stakeholders to gather & analyze requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionalities
- Keep well-written records describing how each function works, any special configurations, and how to troubleshoot basic issues
- Act as an administrator for Voltus’s project management tool
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning environment, ideally a power user
- 1-3 years experience as Salesforce administrator or Taskray administrator
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus
- Exceptional at learning new technologies; passionate about improving system efficiency
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests

Dispatch Operations Intern (summer, full-time, remote)
About the Role
The Dispatch Operations team at Voltus is looking for an intern who is passionate about delivering MWs to the grid during dispatch events when the grid needs resources the most! These dispatches are called when the grid needs Voltus to take action, and the Dispatch Operations team quickly activates our portfolio of MWs in various programs across North America.
We are seeking candidates who are eager to hone their skills with driving business operations through critical thinking and applying the dispatch team toolkit. This intern will specialize in our operating reserves programs, which are driven by market offers that are optimized in real time. Our ideal candidate will work full time hours (35-40 per week) from June through August or September.
In this role, you will become knowledgeable about grid operators and utilities in North America, you will interact regularly with large industrial and commercial energy users, and you will build a foundation of operations experience across diverse systems and processes. You will have the opportunity to both lead tactical responsibilities and support strategic projects, and you will be part of an exceptional team that is laser focused on combating the climate crisis.
Primary Responsibilities: Support The Success Of Dispatch Events
- We need a team player who can provide quick analysis and coaching to inbound and outbound calls and texts during dispatch events.
- Provide real-time, actionable solutions to Voltus customers during grid emergencies to drive performance during dispatches
- Monitor real time load at partner sites and take action to perform market transactions that optimize our market offers. Ensure our process is clear and consistent across teams and develop mechanisms and standards to efficiently store information about in-day site operations that teammates will use 24/7.
- Become an expert on demand response programs across North America, and leverage this knowledge to support customers and internal teams during dispatches.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Develop method to store, update, and remove operational notes for partner sites that provide information about operating limits, coaching strategy, best coaching contacts, and more.
- Reporting - Maintain reports and assists with taking action on the findings of these reports. Our reporting tools include Python, Redash, SQL, Salesforce, and Google Sheets, and we are looking for candidates with experience or in learning at least one of these tools.
- Performance - Ensure lessons learned are well documented and actioned in our post dispatch cases. Assist in continuously improving dispatch process and customer readiness.
- Account Management - Support customer onboarding by assisting in Dispatch Verification (DV) Scheduling and updating onboarding projects in Salesforce.
- Communication - Develop training materials for and teach others about dispatch process.

Field Engineering Manager
Voltus is hiring a driven, innovative Field Engineering Manager to join our Field Operations Team. The field engineering and production teams are well-established and are made up of BGG Voltans. The teams need a strong team member to support the next phase of growth at Voltus who will need to be comfortable having technical conversations as well as pushing on many projects in parallel. The role is remote by design.
Voltus Field Operations unlocks and maximizes customers’ ability to participate in demand response programs by enabling customers with our technology. Enablement includes installing our hardware, but it goes beyond the installation. There are unique scenarios that require creative solutions; the team collaborates with our customers to develop strong curtailment plans; our team is customer obsessed and builds wonderful relationships to truly understand the operations of our customers and how we can set them up to be successful in demand response programs.
The Field Operations team works cross functionally within Voltus as well as develops strong working relationships with suppliers, utilities, partners and contractors. We are projecting a minimum of 4X growth of our enablement projects and need to ensure our processes and systems are scalable. The role requires business savviness and the ability to build scalable and innovative processes to ensure our hardware development and delivery is productized. You must have relentless attention to detail, be a master project manager, be intellectually curious and think outside the box to come up with creative solutions to get facilities into the market. The Voltus Customer Success Associate ensures customers enter the market efficiently and ready to perform successfully to earn money. You will be a critical team member throughout customers journey at Voltus, managing new and existing customer onboarding from start to finish and providing ongoing account support. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers throughout their onboarding journey and will partner with our top Sales and Operations teams to deliver the best possible experience to our customers. You will drive adoption and expectations at the beginning stage of the customer journey. You will schedule and lead business meetings with our internal teams and customers and effectively communicate the onboarding status to avoid any delays and ensure seamless internal handoff to drive efficient onboarding. You will continue to support our customers and sales teams beyond onboarding with account related questions and provide the best customer experience.
As a Customer Success Associate you will have five primary objectives:
- Reduce the time for a site to enter market and earn money
- Eliminate internal seams so other Voltans can work efficiently
- Ensure customers entering the market are informed and prepared to perform well
- Maintain and grow customer relationships beyond onboarding
- Provide Sales team with ongoing account support

The Role
Voltus is hiring a driven Production Associate to excel in the following areas: attention to detail in preparation and assembly of hardware, shipping and receiving, quality production efficiency, and teamwork. The role requires safe work practices by use of proper PPE and adherence to OSHA procedures.
Role Responsibilities
- Drilling, mounting and wiring of electrical hardware
- Package hardware for shipping
- Inspect pre-built Voltlets for proper assembly and functionality
- Restock new inventory and perform inventory counts with team
- Follow technical procedures and checklists
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of workspace
Physical Requirements
- Safely lift and move up to 50lbs using proper ergonomics
- Use common hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Must have reliable transportation to Georgetown, TX
Qualification
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, or Associates Degree with 1-2 years of relative work experience
- Strong attention to detail for written procedures
