Voltus announces summer season results for full program peak demand charge avoidance across PJM, ERCOT, IESO, NYISO, and ISO-NE
SAN FRANCISCO & BOSTON-- Voltus, Inc. ("Voltus"), the leading distributed energy resource (DER) software platform, today announced that it successfully predicted all system demand peaks to date within expected dispatch volumes in the PJM Interconnection (“PJM”), Electricity Reliability Council of Texas (“ERCOT”), Independent Electricity System Operator (“IESO”), New York ISO (“NYISO”), and ISO-New England (“ISO-NE”) markets.
Voltus offers a no-cost, no-risk demand charge avoidance program called “Peak Saver,” which leverages Voltus’s proprietary technology to analyze historical peaks and trends, forecasted peaks, customers’ impact on overall system load, weather patterns, and geography to predict and communicate dispatches to commercial and industrial energy consumers. With demand peak charges increasing in multiple markets, avoiding these costs create significant cash savings for Voltus customers.
