Customer Revenue Genie

The Role

The Voltus Customer Revenue Genie (CRG) connects Sales with Customer Success. Imagine this: a Voltus Sales Director inks a deal with a customer eager to start earning cash from demand response and make use of Voltus technology. Your job as the Customer Revenue Genie is to ensure that this new relationship gets off to a great start, fast! Specifically, when (or before!) a deal closes, the CRG springs into action, scheduling a kickoff call and organizing the people and data to make sure that we’ve covered the nitty gritty details that allow (1) the Voltus Ops team to integrate our technology as soon as possible at customer sites and (2) the Voltus Energy Markets team to enter the customer into the relevant Demand Response programs as soon as possible. Dispatch Operations Lead (Part-Time, Weekend)

The Role

The Dispatch Operations Lead’s primary responsibility will be to successfully prepare for and execute all activities associated with managing demand response dispatches during weekends. Demand response dispatches are business and time-critical. The Dispatch Operations Lead will become an expert in executing dispatches across multiple grid operators and utility programs. The core objectives of the role are as follows:

Primary responsibilities – Maintain a state of readiness to receive dispatches from grid operators and utilities, which includes:

  • We are looking for two Dispatch Operations Leads to ensure 24-hour readiness from Midnight (ET) Friday to Midnight Sunday (ET). During each shift, the lead must be available and ready to respond to any incoming alerts and dispatches immediately.  The 48 hours will be split between the two dispatch operations leads.
  • Maximize customer participation in DR through a dispatch management process that makes customer participation simple and successful.
  • Lead seamless internal communication during dispatches, leveraging other internal team members in support of the shared goal for flawless dispatches.
  • Capture lessons learned following a dispatch. Track and follow through on any customer inquiries or issues.

Secondary responsibilities – When there are no dispatches, prepare customers to be successful in future dispatches, which includes:

  • Manage the collection of settlement data for customers
  • Ensure our customer contact information is up to date
  • Ad hoc analysis projects
  • Monitor usage and take necessary actions to ensure Voltus daily compliance
